An intimate ‘haute cuisine’ restaurant with menus with daily changes.
Restaurant Eléonore is our small intimate, gourmet restaurant within the hotel. With a capacity of only 28 covers, the intimate atmosphere is guaranteed in this restaurant.
Enjoy the tastes and flavors of the Périgord, in our beautifully created and presented dishes.We serve 2 gourmet menus. The menu Edward 1er (3-courses) changes every day. We also serve menu Eléonore, which gives you a choice between several soups, starters, main courses and several cheeses and desserts, from which you can create your own 3, 4 or 5-course dinner. Our chef will take of course into account special diets or other imperatives (f.e. dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian). Please just let us know in advance. In the summer you can dine on our terrace within the walled garden of the hotel.

Restaurant Eléonore is only open for dinner (served as of 19.30). If you want to have dinner with us, you are kindly requested to reserve in advance, as dinner is only on reservation. Also, because the number of guests we can lodge in the hotel is greater than the number of covers we can cater in the restaurant.
You can also reserve our half-board package at € 40,-- per person, per day (breakfast and a 3-course menu Edward1er every day, if booked before arrival). Of course your table is then guaranteed.
Gwenaël Gauthier, our head chef, enjoyed a classical culinary training. His international experience via renowned restaurants has given him the inspiration to use beautiful Périgord ingredients to present exquisite food which is both classic and contemporary.
Both Edward 1er's mother and his first wife were called Eléonore...
